Why the hell is Jeff Larish batting 5th in the order? It’s one thing to give the kid a chance, but moving down Cabrera in the order for him? It’s ludacris.
So naturally Larish comes to bat in a key situation in the 6th inning today. Tigers trailed 3-2 with the bases loaded and one out. Larish steps into the box behind 0-2 and hits into a double play on the next pitch, leaving Cabrera on deck. I know Miguel is not having the best year, but who would you rather have at the plate in that situation? Cabrera hitting .278 with 8 homers and 34 RBIs, or a rooking barely hitting .100?
It may be time to send old Leyland packing along with Lloyd. Managerial mistakes like this are impossible to explain, but unfortunatey par for the course this year. Lineups are shuffled randomly, with no apparent rhyme or reason.
The Detroit Tigers have thousands of fans all over the world. Here, I may consider myself as one of the big fans of this wonderful team. Whenever I’ve time I try to attend their games, though sometimes it becomes a little difficult to get Tigers tickets and this is due to these great fans that the team has. Detroit Tigers tickets are a little pricy or hard to be found but the team, as a professional and essential team of MLB, worth any price to watch their games. And when we love a team we try as much as possible these financial obstacles.
I don’t care what anyone says at this point: this is a bad team that is poorly managed. One of the hallmarks of the 2006 run was consistency of lineup which helped forge overall team trust and chemistry. Now we don’t know who the hell is coming up next… Larish? I’ve never even heard of him. I feel like the Skip is trying too hard to be clever here – and he’s just not that brilliant – nor does he need to be. He has a lost look on his face, and the spitfire nature is all but gone.
I heard Illitch last night after the Red Wings victory talk about how this one meant the most because he had to work within the salary cap – and therefore had to win through finding and developing young talent. Although he is half out of his mind, it made a lot of sense. I hope he takes this philosophy back to the Tigers, because big money for big bats has rarely been a winning combination.
It’s time for this organization to work harder. Not just throw money at it.
If this man can learn to levitate, why can’t we? Perhaps this comes with experience (if only we had guys with experience…). Perhaps it comes with youth (if only we had youth…). I mean, how does he do it? I gotta take up smoking.
Jessy makes some really strong points…
Does anyone research before they post? The Tigers tickets are below the MLB average and are not really that high.

I have been to a few other parks including Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium and Comerica is pretty cheap. I am not sure if Jessy is one of the new followers of the Tigers since the 2006 season, but until that season, you could easily walk up the ticket booth and get lower deck seats on the cheap an hour before the game.
The reason the tickets are “pricey” or “hard to get” is all the scalpers thought the Tigers were going to be hot, are having karma thrown back at them. While everyone was trying to make a quick buck on the sudden success of the tigers, they took away one of the beauties of the Tigers. I have been going to games for years and it was not until later in 2006, was I unable to just go up to the ticket counter and get tickets.
The one deal I do miss is the 4 seats, 4 hot dogs, and 4 drinks for $60. Too bad we had to sign all these big name players to help pay for it.
So I am not sure how Jessy has good points, and how his points had anything to do with the post.
I was being sarcastic Jamie. Jessy is a clown. Or more likely a Spambot.
I think that Jessie is both a clown and a spambot but also a gentleman and a scholar.
Wait, is this gay chat blog?
