Tigers are gearing up for another series against the lowly Mariners. Pitching matchups look pretty good, we have Verlander going, and Seattle is starting a couple pitchers with ERA’s over 5. If only we could play the Mariners and Yankees exclusively, maybe we could turn this thing around.
Marcus Thames is expected to start again tonight, and may get an opportunity to be the everyday left fielder for awhile.
As fans know, left field has been a sore spot for us. Last year we used 10 different players there, batting a combined .240. Worst in the league.
I gotta believe Marcus can improve on that, now that he’s finally being given the shot.
Heeeeeeee Haaaaaaawwwww!!!!
Dettigers, that must be a picture of you. Because you’re a complete… well, you know.
Marcus is finally getting his shot for a shot. Let’s see if he can capitalize.
Prep–thanks for totally creeping me out. I always hated that blasted show. Kids of today have no idea what it was like to have to endure this awful show while visiting elderly relatives that served warm off-brand Kool-aid like products. Excruciating! And it gave me nightmares. The only one I thought may not be a pod person was Roy Clarke. No wonder I fear the South….
I think Marcus deserves a shot!
