Very sad indeed
For the sake of the other Detroit sports, keep the hope and the blog alive. While it has directly caused the Tiger’s downfall, it has indirectly lifted the other teams to their respective conference championships. Dettigers can claim 2 championships if it keeps hope alive for the Tigers, who clearly suck.
That being said, I think Inge is joining the Draper line with the Wings. Talk about versatile, that kid can do it all. The only question becomes, who is the official mediocre athlete spokesperson of Detroit? Draper and Inge would drop gloves on their way to take the intermission interview.
Pine. Who makes coffins out of pine anymore? You just wait. The sun will set, the moon will rise and out of your coffin will come our vampire. Bringing chaos to the streets. Terror to cities. And horror to fans everywhere.

Ok, step away from the Kool-Aid. I will take a great deal of the blame for the losses, because Frankly, I wasn’t watching. I’ve got people in my home that need to watch Cops 24-7, which would be kinda funny, if it wasn’t so fuc*ing true. But that’s another blog all together. “But that’s another blog.”
Listen, we are what 40 games into the season, and I hear about someone window shopping for nails for the coffin?? I honestly prefer the fact that we suck right now. Maybe the team will wake up and play ball. Meantime, all those suck ass bandwagon fans can dig their Red Sox hats out and leave the Tigers to those of us who remember all of the dismal years, and then the really dismal years and then the years when people would laugh at my Old English D cap. If I see one more lame B list star with a Tiger cap, I am gonna start rooting against the Tigers.
I will sum it up as such. Whether they live up to their potential or fall flat, we love the Tigers. And 90% of being a fan is ranting and raving about the good and the bad. THIS is why the blog should stay around. Coffin on this conversation.
wow, look at the traffic and response this blog is getting. i’m not sure who/what started this thing, but the mere thought of shutting it down is blasphemous.
of all the comments, only “chirod” seems to be making sense. “guillensbetter” thinks he’s the count, and “ingerules” clearly has down syndrome. who’s this “jeff lloyd” fellow? welcome aboard, whoever you are.
say what you will about this blog, but it’s drawing a diverse audience. the count, a guy with down syndrome, and a spunky chicago gal. i like it.
