I hate the Minnesota Twins. But I love Mario Lopez from Saved by the Bell. Turns out, Mario has a twin brother named Dave. Dave seems like a fitting homage to a weekend gone awry in the twin cities. Sometimes twins are ugly, even when they are related to Mario.
Acting that should’ve won an Oscar, meets Noble Prize worthy heart. This photo is actually taken on Mario and Dave making their way to the “Operation School Bell” donation table last year. Congrats, Lily! Operation School Bell saved by Saved by the Bell.

Little known fact: Dave was actually a stand in for Mario during “Saved by the Bell, the College Years”. During a taping of a scene where Dave was standing in for Mario, Bob Golic went on a ‘roid rage, picked up Screech and used him as a weapon against Dave, beating Dave ceaselessly about the face. Dave Lopez was injured beyond repair and also lost 5 inches in height from the incident. His confident stride, as seen above, was obviously unaffected.
